      Accessing a Service Log for your R2A or R360 LiDAR unit

      Service logs for the R2A or R360 LiDAR units provide valuable information about your device, including the firmware version and other technical details. These logs can be useful for troubleshooting and maintenance.

      Follow these simple steps to locate the service log for your R2A or R360 LiDAR unit:

      1. Open the Processed Dataset Folder:

        • After processing your LiDAR data, navigate to the folder where the processed dataset is stored on your computer.

      2. Locate the Service File:

        • Look for a file named service (all lowercase).

        • The file will be in text (.txt) format.

      3. Open the Service File:

        • Double-click the service.txt file to open it.

        • Inside, you will find information related to your LiDAR unit, including the firmware version and other important details.

      Important Notes

      • The service log is automatically generated as part of your processed dataset, so there is no need to manually create it.

      • Make sure you do not rename or move the file, as it may cause issues when reviewing or sharing the dataset.
