# How to Mount the M300/M350 Damping Assembly for ROCK LiDAR

## Follow the steps below to get your DJI M300/M350 ready for your ROCK LiDAR unit!

1\. Follow these [Gremsy Damping Assembly Instructions.](https://gremsy.com/Data/Sites/1/media/manual-file/damping_assembly_for_gport_pixy_ws.pdf)

Please check that the USB-C cable on your damping kit/gimbal connector is connected to the USB-C connection port on the left side (when facing the same direction as the drone flying forward).  The photo below shows what side to have the USB-C cable connected on.

2\. Once the assembly is completed, you would just need to connect your ROCK LiDAR unit.

ROCK recommends that before every flight you take the time to inspect the four corners of the damping unit, checking each silicon ball for any damage or wear.
