Windows Defender Quarantine Issue with ROCK Desktop – How to Resolve

Issue Summary

We recently released a new version of ROCK Desktop, and Windows Defender is mistakenly flagging and quarantining one of the required files, preventing the software from functioning properly. The affected files are located under:

C:\[user]\RockDesktop\

This is a false positive. Our team is actively working on a fix to prevent this from happening in future updates.

In the meantime, you will need to manually allow the file in Windows Security to ensure ROCK Desktop works as expected.

Steps to Allow the File in Windows Defender

Step 1: Open Windows Security

  1. Click on the System Tray (^) in the taskbar (bottom right corner).
  2. Click on the Windows Security icon.
