What to do when your R2A or R360 Camera doesn't initialize

If you don't hear your camera initialize (2-clicks) on start-up, try these steps:

  1. Wait  for the camera to initialize on its own. 🕒

    1. On occasion this process can take 3-5 minutes
  2. If it still doesn't work, simply restart your LiDAR unit. This should help the camera initialize correctly. 🔁📸

    1. If you have to restart, please do not format the USB so that you can send our support team your service.log file. This will help us identify the issue. 
  3. If you want to test your unit without strapping it to the drone you can run a bench test.  

    1. Use the link below to power on your unit. The subsequent steps are unnecessary after you power your unit on to ensure it initializes

Remember, when you turn on your LiDAR unit, the camera shutter should click twice, and it should start clicking at the predetermined interval when you begin capturing data. 📸 ⏰
